Getting to work, or to an appointment at Middlemore, can fill many people with dread. Parking spaces are at a premium — often requiring circling for ages just to find one. And when you do, parking costs start at $3 per hour and can reach nearly $30.
However, Middlemore is also very well served by public transport.
🚉 The front door is only 20 metres from the platform of Middlemore station. You'll never find a carpark that close!
Hospital Road at Middlemore — the train station platform is steps from the hospital entrance.
Middlemore is served by both the Southern and Eastern line trains. Each line runs every 10 minutes at peak, and every 20 minutes off-peak — so even midday on a weekend you'll see 6 trains an hour in each direction.
The Southern and Eastern lines will take you to Waitematā (formerly Britomart) in downtown Auckland in just 30 minutes.
