Constellation is the Northern Busway's second station from the city — a major park and ride hub and bus interchange serving the Rosedale and North Harbour business and industrial precincts. The surrounding area on Constellation Drive and Home Place has a good range of retail and hospitality, including Bunnings, homewares stores, a well-regarded urgent care centre and a cluster of cafes and restaurants. It is a major connecting point for buses serving the wider North Shore and across to West Auckland.
🚌 The NX1 and NX2 Northern Express run through Constellation every 3–5 minutes at peak times. Constellation also has a large park and ride, secure bike lockers, and is the northern terminus for several key connecting routes.

An outstanding Brazilian restaurant serving authentic churrasco-style meats — top-quality beef, chicken and more, served with cassava chips ("first time trying them and I'm now a fan!"), Kika's house sauce and fresh salads. 🅿 Constellation has one of the Northern Busway's largest free park and ride facilities — a key reason it's one of the network's busiest stations. It also has secure bike lockers for cyclists commuting by bike to the busway. Park and ride spaces fill quickly on weekday mornings — aim to arrive before 8am. Check at.govt.nz for live availability. The station connects directly with Albany via the busway, making it a natural interchange for drivers from the wider North Shore, Hibiscus Coast and West Auckland (via Route 12).
