Hibiscus Coast is the northernmost station served by Northern Express services. They run on the motorway between Albany and Hibiscus Coast Station, before joining the busway for a quick journey into the city. The station is located in Silverdale — officially opened in February 2021 after starting life as a simple park and ride — and is the gateway to the wider Hibiscus Coast, with connecting bus services reaching Orewa, Whangaparāoa Peninsula, Gulf Harbour, Manly, Waiwera and even Warkworth.

🚌 NX1 and NX2 Northern Express services both start and finish at Hibiscus Coast Station — making it the best place on the busway to guarantee a seat heading into the city.

Park & Ride

🅿 Hibiscus Coast Station has a large free park and ride — originally the station's sole purpose before it was upgraded to a full busway station in February 2021. It's the natural starting point for commuters from across the wider Hibiscus Coast, Whangaparāoa Peninsula and as far north as Warkworth and Wellsford, who can drive in, park, and take the bus the rest of the way into the city. Spaces can fill on weekday mornings — aim to arrive early. Check at.govt.nz for live availability.
